The State of Nevada has made available to programs that will provide the funds for your child to attend private school.
Senate Bill 302 provides a mean for parents to choose a different option to meet their education needs, NEVADA’S EDUCATING SAVINGS ACCOUNT PROGRAM.
A parent who wishes to choose something other than a public school can simple apply for an Education Savings Account and a percentage of what the state funds for their child’s public education will be deposited into an account for that child. The average is about $5100 per year.
These funds can be used for private school tuition, books, fees to enroll in virtual school, curriculum materials, specialized services or therapies for a student with a disability, transportation and tutoring. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED go to

The second program is AB165 and is called the Nevada Educational Choice Scholarship Program and assist families who are at 300% or less than the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines. There are presently 5 Scholarship Grant Organizations that you can contact for applications they can be found on the State Department for Education website
